As a quilter, I love hand stitching, machine quilting, and the addition of fibers to traditional watercolors. The engineer in me likes adding details.

As a self taught artist, I love the idea of layers. As a quilter, I had layer upon layer in my art quilts and have applied that thought process to my abstract paintings.
Faces of Distortion
Faces of Distortion were born from my own reflection captured in an angled computer screen. I sketched it while on hold listening to dead space of waiting and then turned that first sketch into color.
